do have a tech chamber of commerce of sf city here in san francisco, they led a national discussion on the web to join in the sandy hook promise that they personally were taking up this cause and using the web site to spread the information and word that sandy hook should never happen again and as they arrive on the scene of this national debate they are now turning their attention to the very cities that they are located in and realizing that in their home towns we've got this issue. but the technology companies are talking with each other, they are using that web site to have a national discussion so that's a great thing because more people who have the discussion and put in front of them kids whose lives need to be saved, families and safety, are going to be of great benefit of this. they are also part of the national effort with gabby gilford and mark kelly to, again, be part of those conversations and very difficult ones because many of them are company owners. they want to have those conversations with the nra individuals as well and they are not afraid of those conversation

nothing that city has really ever seen, believe it or not. blizzard, winter storm and coastal flood warnings are in effect this morning as 10 million people brace for the onslaught. grocery stores and gas stations are seeing long lines of customers stocking up in case of power outages. this storm is already causing a lot of havoc on travel plans across this country and event nationally, in fact about 3,000 flights, 3,000 have already been canceled, and we haven't seen the worst of it. meteorologist janice dean is out -- we thought maybe she was out, but maybe she told them, no-no, it's too cold outside. rick outside. jon: she is wearing or camouflage dress. jenna: i thought you were going to be outside. apparently i was wrong. >> reporter: i'm go outside if you need me that. i am well prepared. this weather machine has got her parka. so certainly you've got to be prepared. my husband was in line last night getting the gas. the important thing to remember is a lot of the northeast went through hurricane sandy, so we know what it's like to be without power for weeks, and we know what

city, in is a tricky forecast for you. you're right on the line. we know it's going to snow. the question is, how much is it going to snow. we've got you in the 6 to 12 inch range right now. that would be the biggest storm of the year so far. northern new jersey, some big snow totals and in lesser amounts if you move south and west. don't think you're going to have to go very far to get into the north or east to get into the bigger snow totals. poughkeepsie, eastern long island, things will be significantly worse than we see in the city itself. timing there is late tomorrow and into tomorrow night. you see amounts tapering off as you head farther south and west. the idea here is that a lot of people see a foot of snow. some people say two feet of snow. maybe in a few spots in and around boston we could see three feet of snowfall out of this one. your top five snowstorms, the biggest, presidents' day in 2003. some model res saying we may beat that total in boston. not written in stone, but these are ones that everybody remembers. we stop that, that indeed will be something to

threat towards seoul, north korean, artillery pieces and rocket launchers that can destroy the city of seoul in a matter of minutes or a few hours, if the north koreans unleash this weaponry. and they have this kind of deterrence. to threaten us and they have had it for a long period of time and we are very, very cognizant about this. another related issue in this connection though is that once north korea mounts nuclear warheads on its missiles, how is, how is that going to affect the retaliation policy? that was established between the united states and south korea in 2010, following the shelling of the young pong island in november of 2010. policy that in the future south korea would have the right to retaliate militarily, if north korea committed future provocations and the u.s. would support that kind of retaliation. what is going to happen to the u.s. and the rok attitude towards the retaliation policy once north korea has nuclear war ahead on its missiles and can threaten to rain nuclear missiles down on south korea, if south korea does retaliate? how are we going to react to
